Environmental Impact
Guided by circular economy principles and grounded in sustainability metrics, we ensure that each packaging unit made from banana pseudostem waste replaces conventional plastic with real environmental benefits, from reducing plastic pollution and deforestation to lowering carbon emissions. Every item we produce moves the world one step closer to a cleaner, more inclusive and regenerative future.

1.2 million pieces of single-use plastic packaging replaced by our plant-based packaging alternatives.

6,000 tonnes of banana pseudostems that would otherwise rot or burn transformed into value.

4 tonnes of trees saved for every 1 tonne of banana pseudostems used to produce our banana paper.

We have so far avoided 18.4 tonnes of CO₂e emissions from plastic production, paper milling and open-field waste burning.

From rural farms to urban markets, we envision Zuripacks packaging in the hands of businesses across Africa and beyond, replacing billions of plastic packaging, creating dignified green jobs and proving that African innovation can lead the way in the global sustainability movement.
